Post-As should include sth majorly fun, I'd thought, so whilst mugging at the airport yt&i would take breaks to discuss. Getting out of singapore with
friends was just a notion at first simply because it's not something any parent would agree easily to. We'd both unanimously decided on taiwan. Kath we'd
jio-ed randomly, and 'twas good she came along because our moms wouldn't have felt assured otherwise (:
We'd wanted to go before results (!) get released and when 'twas still winter. planning our own itinerary was really fun, and it helped that kath&i had gone taiwan before, of course =P aside from a rocky plane take-off and a delayed flight back, things went on really smoothly mostly thanks to kath who's a Brilliant Seasoned Traveller =P the hotel room was really small but the location's tons superb. it's right smack in the middle of ximending and a two-min walk to the mrt station, and though old it's clean :D.
love these few days with yt/kath muchly <3. i can't technically say i'm independent because kath's really motherly (:P) but i guess experiencing miserable puking sessions on the last day counted for something, i had to book a hotel room by myself (!) it's been an intensive 5-day shopping/ eating/ photo-taking trip, and y'know something, i'd go back again, if only for tanshui, shilin, & memories waiting to be relived :D
